Privacy notice

This notice explains how Aiforseniorslife handles personal information collected through this website and through licensed programs. Version date: 2026. It is written for organizational buyers and for individuals who send an enquiry or take part in a licensed intake.

Who we are

Aiforseniorslife is an educational practice established in Toronto in 2026. We license and operate online AI-literacy programs for organizations that serve people aged 55 and over. We process two distinct classes of information. The first is enquiry data from the forms on this website, including the briefing form in the footer. The second is learner and coordinator data created when an organization licenses a program. Those classes are not mixed for marketing, and neither class is sold.

What the enquiry forms collect

The briefing forms ask for full name, organization, work email, and, where shown, telephone number, sector, reason for contact, and notes. A consent checkbox must be marked before the form can be sent. Hidden fields record the time of load and the page origin so we can reject automated posts. A honeypot field is present to discourage bulk abuse; it is not a question we ask a person to complete.

We use this information to reply to the request, to prepare a scoping note or document pack, and to keep a record of what was asked. The purpose is correspondence about programs, procurement and related operational questions. We do not use enquiry data to build advertising audiences, and we do not add addresses to a promotional sequence. There is no newsletter product attached to the form.

The lawful and practical basis we rely on is the need to respond to a request you initiated and, where an organization is moving toward a contract, the need to take steps at the organization’s request. Consent recorded on the form is the marker that you were willing to be contacted about that request.

How long enquiry records are kept

Enquiry records are retained for 12 months from the date of the request, unless a longer period is required to complete a live procurement or a contracted onboarding that grew from that request. When the 12-month period ends and no contract is in force, we delete the enquiry. If a contract is signed, relevant correspondence may be kept with the contract file for the term of the licence and any period the contract names for close-out.

No sale and no transfer for others’ purposes

We do not sell personal information. We do not transfer enquiry data or learner records to third parties so that those parties can market, profile, or score individuals. Hosting and communications tools that we use to store or transmit records act on our instructions. Program learner records are stored in Canada. We do not place advertising in the learning environment, and we do not permit retargeting pixels on that environment.

If a competent authority issues a lawful demand, we will consider it and keep a record of what was disclosed. We will not treat a commercial partner’s request as equivalent to a lawful demand.

Rights of access, correction and deletion

You may ask what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing need to keep it. Organizations that license a program may ask, through the named coordinator, for access to or correction of coordinator contact details, and may request deletion or export of learner-level records in line with the privacy addendum to that licence.

To use these rights, write to [email protected] or telephone +1 416 572 3180 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30 Eastern Time. Name the email address used in the form or the intake, and describe the request. We may need to confirm that we are speaking with the right person or with the contracting organization. We will reply within a reasonable period and in any case without undue delay.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, depending on the context. This notice is intended to be compatible with PIPEDA-oriented practice. It is not legal advice to your organization.

Learner data in licensed programs

When an organization licenses a program, it supplies a participant list. We process names, contact channels used for access, attendance, task completion, optional questionnaire responses, support-line contacts, and, where the fraud program runs, cohort-level exercise summaries. We use this information to operate the intake, to staff the support line, and to produce the reports described on the measurement page.

Learner records are not used in our public marketing. They are not published as testimonials. Access inside Aiforseniorslife is limited to people operating that intake. The client coordinator sees the views agreed in the licence. Retention and deletion follow the contract. A closing export can be provided before deletion. We do not use learner data to underwrite insurance, to score credit, or to train a public model.

Cookies and similar storage

This website uses a small set of technical cookies and local storage, described in the Cookie notice. Analytics and advertising trackers are not loaded. The consent cookie aisl_consent records a choice for 180 days. You can change that choice from the Cookie notice page.

Hosting

The public website is hosted so that it can be served to visitors in Canada and elsewhere. Licensed program records are stored in Canada. Enquiry records are stored with the same operational care we apply to correspondence files. We do not publish a map of subprocessors on this page; a procurement pack can include a current description on request.

Updates

We may update this notice when our forms, hosting, or licensed operations change in a way that affects the description above. The version date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be reflected on this URL. Continued use of the website after an update is an acknowledgement that the current text applies to new enquiries. Contracts already signed remain governed by their addenda unless those addenda say otherwise.
