Evidence

Measurement and reporting

Boards, grant officers and learning committees need a file they can inspect. Aiforseniorslife reports on a short list of measures that can be collected without turning a session into an exam, and without using learners as marketing evidence.

Measures

What we measure

Four measures are collected on every standard intake unless a privacy addendum removes one of them. The methods are simple on purpose, so a coordinator can explain them without a research office.

Participation and retention

We record who was enrolled, who joined each live session, and who used a recording inside the 90-day window. Retention is the share of enrolled people who remain present through the later sessions, not a promotional “completion rate” invented after the fact. Absences are listed so a host can follow up locally.

Practical-task completion

Each program has a small number of in-session or between-session tasks. Completion is binary: done or not done. There is no grade. The count tells a committee whether people practised the skill, not whether they performed it to a professional standard.

Confidence before and after

A short questionnaire is offered at the start and at the close of the intake. Items are limited and written in plain language. Change is reported at cohort level. Completing the questionnaire is optional; non-response is reported as non-response.

Fraud-recognition exercise

Where Recognizing AI-Assisted Fraud is in the licence, a closing exercise asks participants to mark which scenarios should be paused, verified or reported. The summary is a cohort score on that exercise, not a claim about future victimhood.

Limits

What we do not claim

We do not promise that a percentage of participants will “become confident,” avoid every scam, or change a health behaviour. Those claims cannot be honestly attached to a six-session literacy program, and they do not belong in a procurement brochure.

We do not publish another organization’s numbers as if they were ours. We do not display star ratings, testimonials or named client results on this site. Learner comments are not harvested for marketing. If a committee wants qualitative notes, they are delivered inside the confidential report, not on a public page.

We do not treat survey movement as a clinical or financial outcome. Health Navigation measures whether people completed a prep sheet, not whether an appointment went well. Fraud modules measure recognition in an exercise, not losses avoided. That distinction is written on the first page of the closing report.

Cadence

Reporting cadence

During an intake the coordinator receives a weekly summary: sessions held, attendance, open support issues, and tasks completed that week. The note is short enough to forward internally without editing.

At the close of the intake a structured report is issued. It follows the contents list below. It is written for a file, not for a press office. Individual quotations are omitted unless the addendum explicitly allows anonymised excerpts for internal use only.

Organizations on a network licence may request an annual roll-up that combines intakes without naming learners. That document is for a board or a grant officer. It is not a public case study and it is not reused in our own marketing.

Structure

Sample report contents

This list describes the structure of a closing report. It is not a set of results from a client engagement.

  • Intake identity. Program name, language, dates, cohort size at enrolment, and the coordinator of record.
  • Delivery log. Sessions held, facilitator and host pattern, recording use, and any calendar changes.
  • Participation. Enrolment, live attendance by session, recording use, and retention through the later weeks.
  • Tasks. Which practical tasks were set and how many people completed each one.
  • Questionnaire. Item wording, number of responses, and cohort-level before/after figures, with non-response shown.
  • Recognition exercise. Included only when the fraud program ran; method and cohort summary, not individual scores on a public annex.
  • Support. Volume of line contacts, common issue types, and items escalated to the coordinator.
  • Exceptions. Accessibility adjustments made, and any data-handling notes required by the addendum.
  • Close-out. Retention schedule for the records, export offered, and the date on which learner-level data is due for deletion.

Annexes, when used, are tabular. They are not slide decks of highlights. If a reader needs a one-page cover, we supply a cover that points to the same figures rather than a second set of numbers.

Evaluation

Evaluation support

Many buyers already have a survey, a logic model, or a grant indicator list. We do not insist on replacing it. At scoping we map our four measures to the fields you already report, and we note gaps instead of inventing parallel instruments.

If your evaluation office wants additional items, we will consider a bounded add-on questionnaire provided it remains optional, readable at 18 pixels, and free of marketing language. We will not add items that ask for testimonials or that would allow a learner to be identified in a public document.

Staff time on the client side stays with the coordinator: distributing the optional questionnaire if you prefer a paper path, and filing the report internally. We do not run a separate research panel and we do not retain data for secondary studies.

Next step

See the report shape against your file

Send the audience for the report — learning lead, board, or grant officer — and we will reply with the contents list marked against your likely intake. No sample “results” are attached, because we do not invent them.
